  1. You could, and use the nuclear bomb insignia besides it as a trade mark.

  2. Sued for what??

    Am I missing something here?

Snowboards and Nike are not even close to each other.

  3. no

  4. nahh your only worry wud be hadein kinda the same logo ppl might not by it case it wud look like a knockoff of nike =/

  5. No becuase it no the same name and it has nothing to do with Nike.

  6. No but the U.S.A. or the fromally known Soviet Uinion might sue or investagate! :)

  7. No, Nuke and Nike don't sound similar at all and have nothing to do with each other.

  8. nope.

so long as it's not pronounced like "nukey" (nukie, however you want to spell it), you should be fine.

if you called it "nike" it might be copyright infringement.

and if you use a different logo you should be fine.

  9. no,I don't think NIKE would give it a second thought! However, I believe it means something pretty rude in another language.

  10. just to be on the safe side you could rearang the latters... so then it would be Neku  and you would pronounce it like

(knee koo) Neku. actully i think Neku sounds better...

  11. Probably not. There is a slight chance, but it is not very likely as 1, they don't sound or look exactly identical, and 2, you're a snowboard company, and Nike is a shoe company.

  12. No. being that you spelled it different, and you do not use the same logo, then they have no basis to sue you on cause u could always claim  that it does not sound or was not intended to sound the same and had no intentions on infringing on there franchise

  13. no NOOK and NIKEE sound different so no

  14. No, because the word Nuke has its own meaning that's completely unrelated to Nike.  Plus they don't even sound similar when you say them out loud.  Just make sure your logo doesn't look anything like the swooch.

  15. no.

  16. i think there are other products with a brand name NUKE perhaps you should google it

  17. no even if you named your company Nikes they still couldnt

  18. No, plenty of companies have names that are closer.

  19. nope.

  20. When I was trademarking my business name,Santa Ynez Valley Bee Charmer, my attorney explained to me that a busines such as Nike trademarks the specific name and any images associated with it like the Nike swoosh logo. unless they can prove that your name Nuke is confusing to the point that it infringes on their ability to market their property and product successfully then you should be okay. To be safest (and this is why I trademarked my name) you oight to think about contacting a trademark attorney and doing the same.

    Good luck.

FYI: the trademark is good for 10 years then needs to be re-registered.

  21. Umm, they don't sound anything alike... NOOOOOK versus NYYYYKIE

    Nope, nothing alike...

  22. uhhh no.
