If I were you, which flight sked would you choose in going to the Philippines?

We are three passengers and have booked a two-way ticket to the Philippines from Toronto. Our arrival date for both is Jan. 20, 2009

FLIGHT A: Depart: Dec.26, Arrive: Dec. 28 (Toronto-Vancouver-HK-Manila): longer hours, but earlier arrival; Cost: $5,030

FLIGHT B: Depart: Dec. 29, Arrive: Dec. 30 (straight flight from Toronto to HK, then HK to Manila): shorter hours, but arriving at a later date; Cost: $4,822

i'll take B. the cheaper flight.

but, if i'm not being stingy, then i'll take flight A. i don't mind staying long hours at the airport, i love exploring the airports in different cities.

how many hours is it from toronto to Hk? with flight A, you get to break up the long flight by stopping over at vancouver.

flight b because it's cheaper and shorter hours. what's the point of arriving a date later? but if u guys are in a hurry, then choose flight a. if not, then choose flight b. you could save $208. you could use this to go shopping!!
