If I wire 2 subs that are dual 2ohm voice coils in series, and if the amplifier's terminals are in parallel?

  1. if you wire the subs in series thats 4ohms per sub. wiring them in parallel will come out to 2 ohms at the amp.

    2ohms + 2 ohms = 4 ohms per sub (series)

    4ohms per sub divided by 2 subs (parallel) = 2 ohms at the amp

  2. You shouldn't wire amplifier terminals in parallel if it's a two channel. You will fry the amp.

    Two 2 ohm DVCs can be wired for 0.5 ohm, 2 ohm or 8 ohm.
