If I workout on the elliptical everyday for an hour will I lose weight? ?

  1. If you ate sensible.. try five small meals a day.. But on the elliptical you are going to have to break a sweat put it on a high resistance and a hill. I would say OF COURSE.. I would say you would loose about 3 pounds a week.

Suggest you use different cardio equipment during your workout to challenge various muscle groups.  This helps your body from becoming 'efficient' with the exercise, which results in lower energy expenditure over time.  In your proposed 60-minute workout, try doing 20-minutes of each.  Rest for one or two days during the week to prevent injury.
