  1. Yes. The Gulf of Mexico is quite warm and will most likely turn it into a category 4. Which is terrible news for where I live. I live on the Gulf coast. :(


  2. Well, hate to say it but at this time of year with the water temperature of the gulf right now, no hurricane has ever entered the gulf and then just died out.

    So it will be bad news for someone.

    Ike is strong and there is still a lot of heat to power it in those waters.
