  1. Britain did not colonise the whole of Africa. Africa was also held by the French, Dutch, Italians, Portugese. The British traded with and then ruled India. Indian and British cultures had vague similarities, the caste system and the class system which made governing India easy and believe it or not, welcome by some of the ruling castes of India. All countries once belonging to the British Empire, ( apart from America), are technically part of the Commonwealth and thus can claim the right to British citizenship.  Mexico had no control, claims or significance to Africa. They had their hands full trying to keep the Americans from stealing even more of their land than they already had, Southern California, New Mexico for example.

  2. The British claimed to be Africans for almost 60 years...

they occupied the entire continent and imposed laws...

  3. if u where born there or consider it to be your home country this goes for every where in the world

  4. Some Indians are british and hold british passports. It dates back to the British rule in India (1765 to 1947).  I am Anglo Indian myself and hold a British passport so I am classed as British.

  5. If someone was born in Britain, or lived here so long they consider it their only home, work here, pay taxes here etc, then that makes them British in my book.

Same goes for anyone emigrating to Mexico.

  6. lol I know what you mean, real comical Indians claiming to be British, you see them all over the place.

Funny you never see anybody from an advanced country like France or Holland claiming to be British because of residence; it is only the loser countries who steal national identity

  7. wth?

    i dont think so....

  8. grow a brain

  9. No, Mexico was not a colonial power occupying the region for over a hundred years.  Mexico did not send nationals to Africa where intermarriage occurred.  The UK, on the other hand, has a colonial history with India and its people.
