If Iran floods the market with oil, how will environmentalists react?

If Iran floods the market with oil, and effectively lowers the price, will environmentalists then be in favor of war with Iran?

Just wondering, as it appears that environmentalists have finally hit their goal, and have gotten fuel to their dream price.

Fuel is now virtually unaffordable,(foreclosers tell it all) and are forcing many in this country to live greener, and make tough forced choices.

I am all for Iran flooding our market. It would be a bold statement to me that Iran isn't quite as bad as the propeganda machine tells us they are.

High oil prices are not the goal of environmentalists but a putative by-product of environmental preservation. An influx of oil that was not due to exploitation of the environment, therefore, would not elicit a negative reaction. In fact, I expect those inclined to the green would welcome this, as it seems to provide some security for an environment that they consider to be currently at risk due to the pursuit of oil.

Scream global warming from hydrocarbons.

They are already doing it where I live and giving dire prophecies abot the oceans rising thirty feet and huge hurricanes. And we just had globally the coldest winter in 50 year with the largest snow pack on record across the US, the first time in history that Bagdad had snow. China's coldest winter since the 1600s, etc. Now they are trying to have it both ways. If warming is caused by man so is global cooling. it's all mans fault according to them. A bunch uf luddites who think mankinds time on earth should be over. The glass is now half empty to them. They want to control us and keep us from leaving this planet because they see man an an un-natural specie..... I just waiting until somehting meaner and hungrier than man comes space hopping here so we can feed gang green to them first.

If you are all for Iran flooding are market you must be crazy! If Iran floods the market with this 'cheap' oil it will be in Euros, not US dollars…which will ultimately make the Economy, as we know it, Crash. The dollar would be just as worthless as the Peso. So war with Iran in inevitable because something has to be done to stop them from doing this or else we will all suffer from it. And I agree that our propaganda makes Iran sound worse than they really are...but they really are bad people we just make them sound worse than they are. I would hasten to add though, that if Mossadegh hadn't been overthrown in 1953 and the brutal Shah installed, the Iranian people would never have supported the trashy anti-American governments they have had since 1979.

Wow what a dream, Iran would never ever do anything to help the USA, I do not understand why people don't realize they have been our enemy since 1979. And the tree huggers will get up in the morning and go outside and hug their tree just like every other day.

No, I still wouldn't be in favor of a war with Iran.  Beyond that, the commodities market is driving price much more than supply at the moment.  

Beyond that, the free market has been effectively leaning toward greener industries and it is becoming a priority for people.
