If Iran is attacked how likely is it that the remaining Middle Eastern countries will ally against the US?

How likely, if the US attacks yet another middle eastern country, e.g., Iran, that the other middle eastern neighbors, e.g., Syria & Lebanon, that also do not like the US and pose equal threat, might see themselves as "next" on the list and form an alliance against the US, thus inciting "WWIII?"

I predict Israel will be the ones to go to war with Iran, we will not actively step in (as Israel has already promised this).  Saudi Arabia and Israel are our Allies they will crumble should Iran become successful.  Finally, Iraq will be taken over as well by Iran.  So, I would think that it is a far greater threat to allow Iran to continue- they will take over the Middle East.  Yes, Russia poses a huge threat as well.  It will be very interesting to see what transpires.  Scary...

it's a good chance more countries will join in. but you should be asking who would take your side most off the mess over there is down to your country i hope the UK and Europe keep out of it

I think the next move is pretty obvious: The US will continue it's support of Israel by supplying money & arms, giving Israel the impetus to attack Iran (a la recent biased news reporting 'Iran has missiles that can reach Israel' - I bet 99% of the UK & US don't know how far that is, or what they'd reach if fired in another direction). The US & the sadly misguided brown - nosing UK will back Israel, the middle East will remain a war zone for decades. I hope that superpowers such as Russia & China will ally themselves to Europe against the bully boy tactics of the US, and come to the defence of Iran.

I agree that is will be Israel that will volley the first missile unless Iran beats them to it.  But it does not matter how many middle eastern allies they get once Iran closes the canal causing anyone that might have been sympathetic to their cause to then hate them as no one will then have oil.

I don't think the other Middle Eastern countries like Iran either. They send a lot of trouble makers into other countries to stir up trouble.

If Iran attacked it is unlikely that the remaining Middle East countries would join the attack.  They are already allied against us.

Only a complete nut job would attack the US (still, a possibility we should be alert to).  If Iran attacked US soil they have to realize that would cause the political will in the US to turn Iran into a smoking hole.  So, I doubt that will be their strategy.

More likely we will play musical chairs with Islamofacist uprising around the globe forever, or until we elect real leadership that convinces Muslim countries that THEY need to take the fight to the terrorists.

Since the Republicans are too busy looting our treasury to care and 43% of America seems ready to vote for a continuation of the worst administration in history, I have little hope of a concentrated effort soon.

They likely will.  But, I'm more worried about Russia and China.  They both helped supply Iran's nuclear ambitions with money, scientists, and materials.  So they may see us attacking their handiwork as an open invitation.  In fact, Russia has been conducting joint military exercises, with China, again a la Cold War, ready for such a chance.  WW3 indeed.

All of them would be on our side except the countries you mention except Lebonon because it is a proxy to Iran and controlled by Hamas they may take back their country but Saudi, The UAE, Kuwait and Duabi would all be on our side.

You do know Iran is not an Arab country but an Arian country which is muslim right? The Arabian Pen. Countries hate Iran and fear them that is why were asked to protect the Kingdom not Osama Bin Laden and that is why he hates us.

this would all change if Israel was involved in the hostilities against Iran because they hate the Jews more than Iran.

They would not so much as give up support but rather allow us to use their air space and land to strike but hey we are in Iraq and Afghanistan which borders Iran so the big picture and plan is now being seen. Good job.
