  1. Cheating in NASCAR? isn't that what it's about? If my crew chief didn't get busted once in a while, I'd fire the bum for not trying hard enough. Most of this "cheating" is just seeing how far you can go, just like a tennis player hitting a ball as close to the line as he can, or a pea-ball pitcher throwing on the edge of the strike zone. One gets called "out", the other a "ball" . How about all those calls in football, is that cheating? I'm going to do everything I can to win. If I go 1/16 of an inch too far, you call it cheating, I call it trying harder.

  2. The funny thing about their cheating tactic is that they used "an old trick" I can't beleive they can't think up something new.

  3. There are probably 3 possible answers to this:

1-> If they're not cheating, then it will be hard to catch them

2-> If they are cheating, they will get caught when they get caught, whenever that may be.

3-> If they are cheating and don't get caught, kudos to them. They would become one of the few.

  4. There has been only a few to dare with the cup car. I think the teams have the fear of God in them to try to cheat. But I do bet they push the grey area of the rulebook.  Im not saying the have cheated.

  5. umm, until they get caught, and not a moment before...

    ;-)

of course, your question is predicated upon the assumption that they are cheating at the cup level, and how dare you think that!!!

    ;-)

EDIT: lots of questions to answer - don't have enough time to write a report on each.

  6. Ohhhh probably around the time when Dale Jr lucks into another win.

    aka Never

  7. Kyle Busch is my favorite driver: CHEAT TO WIN.

  8. howd they cheat?how did they manipulate radio

  9. They all cheat, even Junebug's been busted cheating ya know?

Not getting caught is the key.

There's nothing wrong with experimenting to find out where the limit is.

Lesson learned, they won't do it again. Betcha they threw away all their magnets, that's fer sher!!

  10. can bet ya they are changing all the Gibbs cars as we type...but hey they thought they were doing the sport a good thing"'cheating"??? come on now, they already had the best cars so what i do not understand is why???

What i want to know is how they pass inspection of Nascar Officials, they rip car to shreds before and after races, so why they not see this in Nationwide???

I am hoping and praying they find nothing, Gibbs is better than this

  11. If you ain't cheating, you ain't trying.  This is nothing new, sucks for them to get caught, but I really dont think this should be a refection on what is happening on the cup side.

  12. As soon as NASCAR runs a test on them. They have only tested the cars one time this year. Why do they wait till the chase starts to search for equality. Makes payoff seem suspicious.

It destroys the whole outlook on the sport in general.
