if Jagr comes back he is going to want to take over and make it his team, when it clearly is Crosbys team. i think that would be a horrible move to make for the pens. theyve made major strides to develop a new identity since Jagr and Mario are gone, now theyre thinking about bringing the past back?

  1. I don't think Jagr would be a good addition to this team he doesn't seem to mix in well with other superstars so imagine if he wa sint he same locker room as Malkin and Crosby the only thing Jagr would bring to Pitt is nostalgia

  2. First off, Pittsburgh is not rebuilding.  A team rebuilding doesn't come within 2 games of winning the cup.  Second, if Jagr signed a one-year deal with Pittsburgh he wouldn't disrupt team chemistry.  The guy would try to add one more championship before he rides off into the sunset.  I belive he knows that it wouldn't be "his" team.

  3. Personally I wouldn't touch Jagr with a 40-foot pole.  I never cared much for the guy, but when he came out and admitted that when he was playing for Washington he wasn't really trying at times...that's so bad beyond words.

Pittsburgh has all that young talent that seems to have meshed; not sure you really want to s***w with that (and for a guy that hasn't exactly done great things without Lemieux).

  4. Jagr coming to the Burgh would involve something like a total team vote, Mario mediating between Jagr and Crosby and Malkin and then...... maybe if he signed a side deal to keep his mouth shut and play his part on the team... in his own blood, and had an open-ended ticket home for when he couldn't .... maybe it might happen.... but probably not

  5. I think Jagr is bad news for a franchise that is rebuilding and already has stars like Crosby and Malkin soaking up all of the attention.  Jagr is self-centered and would not be able to share the crowd, the money, and the fame should they do anything with their worthless franchise.  I say leave his old *** with NYR and focus on continuing building your team.  Bringing Jagr back would be a step in the wrong direction I think.

  6. I wouldnt worry about it Jagr is going to the Russian super league for sure, his NHL days are numbered.
