Why are they that stuck on one party rather than using their brains and vote for someone who can do good and well for the majority of the country? Are all republicans worth over $5,000,000? Is that why?

  1. Short answer:  Jesus was born in THE MIDDLE EAST!!!!  OMG!!!

  2. Because he'd support "socialized" healthcare, and I heard hes a real stickler for that whole thou shalt not kill thing.

    I doubt he'd be a dem either however ...

  3. When Jesus Christ comes out of the sky, I won't be sticking around long enough to vote!

  4. Did the lord obama come out of the sky? Is that what you're implying?

  5. Cause they are the modern day Judas.

They are traitors and will betray you.

Just like McCain did by choosing a newbie as the V.P.

  6. Jesus would definitely be a Democrat...he favored the poor over the rich, believed in paying taxes ("Render unto Caesar...") and preached tolerance ("No one is good but God").

  7. He doesn't have any experience...

And his father was from the Middle East...

  8. That's right!

Jesus would be persecuted by the Cons!

They are such hypocrites!  America First! my ***!

  9. i dont think i could vote against jesus and i think many obama supporters think he is bigger than jesus

  10. No, we just know falseness when we see it, just like we see it in  Obama and the Dems!!

  11. / Republicans know the difference between the actual Messiah, and the guy the Democrats think is the Messiah, and believes he is too.

The $5 M comment was taken out of context by the multi-millionaire, B. Obama.

Anyone who watched the Saddleback forum knows Obama is a liar.

  12. Well I would answer your question, but Jesus Christ wouldn't come out of the sky and run for President... That'll be the rapture.

  13. Jesus Christ would not be a Democrat.

  14. Jesus would not run as a Democrat, I'm sorry to tell you.  He wouldn't run at all, seeing as how he wasn't really all that fond of government.

Yes...the Bible tells Christians to pay taxes...that's why they still pay taxes when taxes go up...it doesn't say that taxes are good or that we can't change the amount of taxes that we pay.  They are completely in thier rights to do just that; our government is set up the way it is just for things like that.  We, as a people, can influence our government.

Yes, Jesus said to take care of the poor.  However, he would not condone the government doing it on forced taxes.  That would not be considered "godly" giving.  A good giver is one who gives of his own free will, which, statistically, Republicans give FAR more than Democrats.

"Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." - 2 Corinthians 9:7

Oh, and since someone brought it up..."Thou shalt not kill" is a mistranslation.  In the original Hebrew the word is more closely translated to "murder"...or specifically, unrighteous killing.  Killing during war is considered perfectly acceptable..and that is clearly demonstrated in several places in the bible.  I don't know if you've actually read the books, and in particular the Tanak or Old Testament, but warfare is a pretty common reoccuring theme through out.

Majority of the people that are voting for Republicans are not "stuck" on one party, so to speak.  We just don't agree that the Democratic way is the best way for the country.  We agree with conservative ideals over liberal ones.  We do use our brains...and frankly, I don't like the implications that a "thinking" person can't possibly be conservative.  We made our choice based on the same reasons that Liberals do....the way we were raised, our values, our current life situation, life experiences and education, our local culture, and, in general, our overall worldview.  Maybe you should THINK that just because someone doesn't see things your way it isn't because they are stupid or don't think, but maybe it's because thier particular point of view leads them to a different conclusion than you do.

  15. there stupid

  16. No, they'd call him a Muslim Satanist.

  17. First of all, Jesus Christ wouldn't be either a Democrat or Republican.  What most likely would happen is they both would debate on  crucifying him.  They would be more like the Sadduces and Pharisees.

  18. The Church would have him silenced!

  19. You are assuming Jesus would even run for office, much less as a democrat.

Perhaps we vote republican because we believe in doing for ourselves instead of having the government do for us.

Perhaps we think we should keep more of our own money instead of giving it to the government.

Or perhaps we do not agree with the notion that killing a baby after it has come into the world is something other than infanticide.

I am not worth over $5 million. All the republicans I know are not in that range either. We simply have a different political philosophy than you. Why can you not respect that? I certainly respect you and your positions.
