If Jesus is fulfilling the prophecy "he shall be called Emanuel, which means "God with us"" why is he never throughout the gospels addressed as Emanuel?

  2. Because the Bible is make-believe. It's mythology. It was never meant to be literal. And it is riddled with errors, contradictions, and inconsistencies. Google "bible errancy" some time and check it out.

    "Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel," which is translated, "God with us." Matthew 1:23

  4. the bible was translated a million times... He was possibly known as emanual but when translating the bible into english for the millionth time they desided to be consistant and leave that name out.
