If Jesus told his disciples to spread his word, should that apply to us who get it second-hand, and don't know

Question

if the Bible quotes Jesus accurately, and certainly rarely agree in our interpretations of what he meant. Shouldn't we shut up, since we are not spreading Jesus' word, but OUR OWN?

his word is the bible so that just means that we share what the bible says so that we can witness to others about God and the great divine we know as Jesus who died on the cross   for everybody
