If Jesus was the son of God then why didn't God include Jesus in the Ten Commandments?

'Thou shalt honour and worship thy divine son, Yeshua'.

Nope. Nowhere to be seen.

If Jesus was the son of God surely he would have revealed his plan to send Jesus in human form in the 10 Commandments.

  1. It wasn't included because the original OT is the Jewish Torah.

  2. You are asking this question - you who called a mother wanting prayer for her son a "fool".

You have no interest in Jesus Christ other than mocking Him.

  3. He did.  He revealed to the prophets, but the stupid prophets got the name wrong, so he came out as Jesus instead of Emannuel.  Oooopsies.

  4. Absolutely a great question.  He knows everything so he knew that he was coming to earth and rebirth himself into being his already alive son whom he fathered  ugh, fathered himself?  That things is screwed up, but just one little statement that JC was coming but sheet he , the father came here himself and pretended to be his son.  Know what>  One has to be without any thought, never thought and can't think in order to believe that hugh crock.

  5. If He did, than the Pharisees wouldn't have killed Christ, and that would be bad.

  6. When Jesus made it clear to the Jews he was the 'son of God' they decided to kill him because they thought that he was also claiming to be God - which He is.

  7. WHY?

The 10 commandments are about law and behavior, not salvation.  Salvation, or its plan anyway, can be seen as early as Genesis.

Christians do not 'worship' Jesus, we merely go through Him in order to get to God.

Either you really don't understand scripture, or you are trying to make it fit your idea rather than conform to it.

  8. If you studied scripture more closely you would see that God is Jesus in the flesh. HE is three things at once the father the son and the holy spirit.

You know nothing of scripture. JUst another straw man

  9. The Ten Commandments were written centuries before the birth of Jesus. If he was included at that time the 'prophecies' in the bible for telling his birth as well as other events would have nothing to the imagination or for atheist to fight over.

  10. i love to answer this question because i have at least a little understanding about this.

but i suggest you visit and ask the people in authority like the priests especially the theologians they know a lot about God.

  11. nope.,... ,God has the highest form of wisdom so we don't have any rights to question His laws...

God uses another way to prove that Jesus is His son and he revealed His plan in  most intelligent way...

  12. Um.... Jesus gave them to Moses.

Joh 5:45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust.

Joh 5:46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.

Joh 5:47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

    They are his commandments.

Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

You won't find salvation with out them.

Lu 16:29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

Lu 16:30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

Lu 16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though ONE ROSE FROM THE DEAD.

  13. It seems like this question you asked is nothing more than an attempt to make fun of God....

If you understood the bible, you would know that Jesus is God in the flesh.... making them one in the same.

    Shame on you!

  14. As a Christian, I believe that Jesus is God. That the Father and Son are One. So it would already be in the Ten Commandments.

  15. It was the preincarnate Jesus who gave the commandments to Moses.

  16. You know it occurs to me that another fellow tried to trip someone up.  But he wasn't trying to trip up sinning Christians, he was trying to trip up Jesus Christ himself.  Know what happened?

This fellow was an expert in the law, Jewish law.  Jesus claimed to be an authority of Jewish law so profoundly that he figured that he could rewrite the law.  So the man challenged Jesus, saying "what is the most important law."  Jesus replied by telling the story of the good samaritan.  If you don't know the story, or even if you do know the story you should understand it in context.  So if you are interested you should read up on it more than I am capable of explaining it.  I'm not too good at it, but I'll paraphrase it a bit.  Essentially two pure dogmatic law abiding Jewish leaders passed an injured untouchable on the street.  They wouldn't help him because, well I already said it, he was untouchable.  Then another man, someone who was the sworn enemy of the injured person, came along tended to his wounds, put him up in a hotel and paid the full bill.  Imagine today a priest and a monk passing by an injured man on the street.  Then a gang banger stumbling upon him, recognizing him as a member of a rival gang. Oh but he doesn't kill him.  No! He takes the injured gang banger to the hospital and pays for the bill.

Jesus' point was that we should be good samaritans.  Be good to one another.  And then he gave The Greatest Commandment: Love God with all your heart, soul, and mind, and love your neighbor as yourself.  He said that The Greatest Commandment is the entire point of the law.  Everything inside the law can be condensed to this one commandment.

The 10 commandments were at that point replaced by The Greatest Commandment.  We still obey the 10 commanments, but we don't have to focus on them individually.  As long as we live by The Greatest Commandment, we WILL be obeying the 10 commandments, including honoring and worshiping God's divine son.

Besides, read John 1.  "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God"  Know what the word was? Jesus.
