If John Elway would have made the choice to try to " 3 Peat " in 99, would he and the Broncos have succeeded?

IF, he would have made it to the Superbowl, he certainly would have had his hands full with the Rams and "The Greatest Show on Turf".

Do you think John and his boys could have pulled it off?

  1. John Elway ended his career with class and dignity, assuring himself of a prominent place in the Hall of Fame. His body told him it was time to sit down. Too bad Favre isn't half as smart as John.  


  2. They'd have had a very low chance to repeat. Most teams don't. Just the fact that "gums" retired, infers that he was well aware of their lack of potential success.

  4. Boy, would I have loved to have John Elway play longer.  I am not sure if John's knee would have held up during the 1999 year.  I really enjoyed when two years in a row coming from behind in the AFC championship game beat the Browns (aka the Clowns); unfortunately did not win the SB.
