  1. I'd be more inclined to vote for McCain, as his desire to push his religious beliefs on everyone through legislation is one of his big downsides for me.

I'd be just as likely to vote for Obama.  He's already for the freedom of religion.

  2. i would not vote for osama not matter what

  3. Yes

  4. No, agnostic maybe, but not Atheist. If you don't believe in some form of higher power than man you are lost.

  5. No. Most atheists have an agenda to get God out of everything. I wouldnt want to put someone like that in power.

  6. NO! I wouldn't support anyone who doesn't believe in God.

  7. No, I am not going to vote for them anyway.

  8. That would be a great reason to vote for them. Sorry, I don't want someone who believes in talking snakes to run this country.

  9. as long as they still had the same stance on things and didn't promote radicail athiesim like in europe.

  10. I would be even more convinced to vote for the candidate.

It would be a great option to have.

  11. Yes.  I would prefer my president to be an atheist or agnostic.

  12. My vote is for Obama.  Athiest or not.  John McCain will never get my vote because he chose a moron for his VP spot.

Peyton Manning has more experience and charisma than she does.  And he wouldn't have come in second in a beauty pageant.

  13. Yes. Why not? The atheists I know are intelligent, moral, trustworthy, and most of all, they consider the facts of any issue and possible consequences of any decision they need to make. The worst you can say about them is they don't have patience for theists. On the other hand, theists demonize atheists, which is a lot worse than losing patience.

  14. Well considering most of McCain's downsides are fueled by religious beliefs, I would consider voting for him if he was an Atheist. If they were BOTH atheist I would still vote for Obama because I like that he addresses the need for us to help our under-performing schools, and other things that McCain ignores to focus on Iraq.

  15. Yes I would, If I want religion I go to church not the polls

  16. actualy the united states does not allow athiests in governemnt office.

  17. yeah, i am not voting based on religion. i am an atheist too so.....

  18. No. I want to vote for someone that believes he will have to answer to something powerful for his actions.

  19. Why not ? Constitution does not require any religion affiliations.

  20. A person's religion wouldn't change my decision about them. I'd still vote for them, talk to them, hang out with them. Unless they try to push their beliefs on me, that's when you cross the line.

  21. Yep. I'd be more inclined to vote for him, even.

  22. sure....as long as they are racist, I'm cool.

  23. Sure. The country would be better off for it, but if Obama was an atheist I would not vote for him just because he was. If McCain is not an atheist I would still vote for him, however I would prefer that he be an atheist.

Personally I don't believe either McCain or Obama are all that religious. They have to say so though because of the mental cripples that vote because of a candidates religion or race. I can't stand Obama, but think Tiger Woods is the greatest.

Atheists' minds are not fogged up by religious superstitions.

  24. I don't care so much about religion.  I would like to know that the next president has read the federalist papers, articles of confederation, magna carta, US Constitution, declaration of Independence in the last year.

  25. I would *love* and Atheist in the White House!

If both weren't such religious nuts i would be more likely to vote for them.  It's Obama's plan to expand 'faith based' initiatives, something I consider clearly un-American, that's my biggest beef with him.  McCain is religious, but fortunately he mostly keeps that to himself.

The country was founded on both freedom of religion, and freedom FROM religion.  No religion should be involved in government.
