  1. From the looks of her record up to this point I believe that she has the potential to be a great president. She is very down to earth, motivated, and is an extremely strong woman.

  2. Well, she knows how to ice fish and moose hunt. What more do you want from a president?

  3. Yes--She has proven superior executive leadership with an 80% approval rating----has consistently stood her ground for things she believes in---even crossing party lines to do so--has shown to not pander to big oil and other special-interest groups--I feel she is a breath of fresh air to the G.O.P----this is a great day for the Republicans-----for women----and for America!

  4. One thing about management skills they can be transfered to a bigger venue.

    She did a great job in Alaska.

  5. I agree people say that Obama will not make a great leader when Sarah Palin has less experience.

    Someone is going to mark this dumbs down

  6. Oh yeah,  all that experience she's had recently in Wasilla will come in handy when the phone rings at 3 a.m.

  7. Who can say it's all conjecture at this point.

  8. I honestly don't know yet.  I know so little about her abilities.

    But my gut says no...she has even less experience than Obama: less than 1 term as governor of a state that has more wildlife than people and is a very poor representation of most states' problems; she has little foreign policy experience and has never been to Iraq (Obama has been twice and Biden has been many times).

    But experience aside, I have never really heard her speak.  Obama has been speaking to large crowds and inspring people since at least 2004.  I don't think experience is the only qualification one needs...I am more concerns with her ability to predict and make good decisions.  In this way...I don't see how she can prove herself...I don't think she has enough time to do this.

    And frankly...I don't see how Republicans can be happy with his choice since they have spent months ranting and raving about Obama's experience.  And they better be ready to see her as Prez if they vote McCain....because he may not have too many years left....

    BTW...since when is being a mother of 5 kids a qualification for president?

    and also...She hasn't even completed one term as governor of a state that doesn't even have 1 million ppl in it (683,478 according to wikipedia).  There are current mayors that could potentially be more qualified than she is.

  9. will obama make a good president?

    Goes vice versa too.

  10. That would be scary. She has only been governor of Alaska for less than 2 years.  Another reason NOT to vote for McCain.

  11. Yes,She will become the most attractive leader in the world.She also has a good record and the citizens of Alaska love her.

  12. No, absolutely not.

  13. Yes!!

    Palin is a Great choice and she will make a Wonderful VP (/ President if needbe)!  It just goes to show that McCain is a true maverick & genius!

    Palin:

    * has the record of the most beloved Governor in the US by her state (Alaska)

    * is a vocal, huge proponent of American energy independence

    * has actually been leading people for the past several years, while Obama & Biden have been leading NO one!

    * shelved her state's pork-laden Bridge to Nowhere that McCain has ridiculed on the trail

    * will join McCain in fighting hard against earmarks

    * is about as far outside the Beltway as you can get

    * ran on the agenda of stopping wasteful gov't spending

    * is the mother of 5 kids!

    * has had her son deploy to Iraq

    * is an ice fisherman

    * is a moose hunter

    * is a small business owner and a lifetime NRA member

    All in all, she's a truly fine leader, citizen and patriot - who truly represents Americana (Motherhood & Apple pie)!

    Peace
