But instead works for the people (as he said in his speech last night), then why has he voted with George Bush 90% of the time?

  1. John Mccain does not know the meaning of work he never held a private sector job  So maybe that is why he doesn't work for the party?  Another one of his lies!


  2. Because despite what Katie Couric tells you George Bush works for the people too.  Notice how we haven't been attacked on our home soil since 9/11?  If that's not working for the people I don't know what is.

  3. What was the alternative?

    I was never a complete Bush supporter but, neither Kerry nor Gore was a viable alternative.  150 million people agreed.

    I was ready to support what the Democrats offered in contrast but the record shows that they voted with Bush as well, so, now what?

    For all their protestations, Bush led the Democrats around by the nose and they did what he told them to do.

  4. When did Bush vote on legislation? Oh, and a unanimous agreements like praising the olympic participants is included in that 90%

  5. Because he is a liar. John McCain has no principles left. He gave them all away when he voted for torture as a sop to those who thought he was too soft to be President.

  10. If you recall, Bush said he was a "uniter not a divider."  That really seems to have been the truth too.  McCain can't talk about the success of the past 8 years of Repub leadership of this country.  So what else would he have to say?
