Palin raised the taxes on the oil companys which benefited Alaska.

She also got alot of federal money when she was both mayor and govenor.

From the state budget you goof! Earmarks are special programs that congressional members add to bills so that their friends can make money.

The problem is that if one city or group qulifies for those funds, so will someone else and that where those earmarks get out of hand.
