This is for the christians who talk the talk but dont walk the walk. I find it amazing that a lot of Christians get mad when the truth is toss their way. They talk about the Jehovah witness but yet what are the churches of today doing to show that God exist other then flab off at the mouth. Talk means nothing if you are not walking it and in this day and age, you have more talkers then walker. Every day l am out here on the streets in bloomington indiana trying to answer people questions about christianity because they have been told things that are not biblical and taken way out of context. If John the baptist was here l know the church would bash him for what he speaks of because of what John was about. He was beheaded because he stayed on Herod back about him sleeping with his brother wife. my favorite lines from Christians who do wrong and l say something too. You arent Jesus and you have no right to judge me. speak the truth and say what is really on your mind. you arent Jesus and you have no right telling me lm wrong when lm wrong. lf you did it to me l know that you would have done it to John the baptist since he was not Jesus nor God.

  1. Wow, don't let these things get to you so much. There are always going to be people with different beliefs. If we all just got that through our heads and accepted it...the world would be a better place.

If I met John the baptist...I would say "Hey, what's up?"...just like I would to any other person.

  2. You seem to be a little worked up! Of course the church would not want a John the Baptist going about reporting on their sins. But what are you wanting? To be a John the Baptist, or for others in the church to be like him and confront people with their sins?

  3. You're right. We are commanded to be "our brother's keeper" and to expose evil. (People often wrongly confuse "judging" with "rebuking")

Jesus said, "So watch yourselves. "If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him." (Luke 17:2-4)

Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. (Eph 5:11)

15But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,  (1 Pet 3)

And even if someone preaches God's Word but doesn't practice it themselves, we are still commanded to listen! Again Jesus said, ...2"The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat. 3So you must obey them and do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. (Matt 23)
