surely by refusing to answer 48 questions which portuguese police asked her, she is jeopardising the case and her daughters safe return. personally, if it was me, i would of done my upmost to answer all questions given to me to the best of my ability to help with the investigation. why would she not do this if she has nothing to hide?

your thoughts please :)

thank you.

  1. maybe shes just upset but i think she did have summin 2 do with it

  2. She had been asked the questions before, but this time it was in a much more hostile environment. I would have done the same thing.

  3. because something is being hidden by them...I dont know what exactly, and we probably never will...but there is truthhood being covered up there...completely apart from the fact that they were guilty of negligence (and if they werent well-to-do doctors, they would have been done in a sec)

  4. the guilty clam up & the innocent talk, as they have nothing to hide by pleading, admitting or stating their case.

kate obviously refused to answer questions as they would have been incriminating.

she chose to give a " No Comment " answer instead.

she was fore-warned that she would be asked questions & her legal team advised her to remain silent.

I am convinced both the mccanns are guilty.

of neglect & guilty of collusion.

to save their skins they've either lied or not answered any reasonable questions put to them.

if they did kill madeline ( by accident, whatever ) lets hope one day it's proved beyond resonable doubt & then we can scream for justice.

guess until then as they NOW have money ( thanks to an ill-gotten ) fund,

have some high-profile backers, g maccan has government connections, they will probably tie any recriminations in knots

until they are both old & grey.

a perfect excuse, they've suffered enough, they say we've lost madeline & will have to live with that for the rest of our lives.

they would prefer all doubters accept:-

what's the point of locking us up, taking away the twins over a mistake, an error, a lapse in judgment or a lack of common sense for one night?

oh dear then silly kate let the cat outta the bag, it was the actually the 3 rd consecutive night.

She has much to explain really, doesn't she?

will there ever be justice for madeline?

who would not had disappeared if it wasn't for their neglect.

    thumbs down here we go..........

    fire at will!

  5. Well she doesn't answer questions, as she has a mouth piece called Mitchell "the unpayed" do it for her.

  6. The only questions she answered was "You are aware that by refusing to answer our questions you are hindering the police investigation into your missing daughter?"

    Yes, she said.

  7. They are unique in the history of parents of missing children!!

Everything they do seems to hamper the search for Madeleine.

  8. She was acting on legal advice by not answering the questions.  There is an old saying which can be very true  'Anything you say will be taken down, twisted out of all recognition and then used in evidence against you.'

  9. I think that you are and were not in the situation. So who are you to claim it may have hurt the case. You are not judge and jury and you have no idea what the questions were. Also they have rights, they don't have to answer questions that may not apply or may have been a trick question etc..

  10. enough already!!!!!!!!

  11. She's only been announced as 'innocent' because one scientist said that even though Maddies blood and DNA was found in their hire car, there was a 'small chance' that it was just coincidence.

There is absolutely nothing that upholds her innocence. That's the most annoying thing about this whole thing. There's evidence that she ISNT innocent, but nothing to say that she is. Yet, because of how both parents are in the spotlight, they're quicker to be claimed to be officially innocent for the media and public opinion.

I know what I think. I think these two know alot more than they're letting on.

Seriously, if I my kid had gone missing - I would answer any questions put to me, whether I was considered a suspect or not. Why halt the progress of the police by not answering important questions, if you know you're innocent anyway? If she had answered those questions in detail, the police would have had no reason to find her guilty (if she wasnt) and then they would have more information to what happened to Maddie.

We must remember that this is the same woman that refused to hire private investigators to find Maddie with the Maddie fund, and refused any help from 'psychics' or 'mediums' who offered to help for free (whether their abilities are real or not, theres no reason to refuse their help - unless they were worried about them being right, and they were guilty).

The Maddie fund went on paying off their house, their living, a new car, a new computer - and of course, they spent some of it actually promoting the Maddie fund more. Not one penny went on an investigator etc, even though they were advised too hire one.

With the amount they are getting through the fund, they could hire a small army of private investigators...

  12. I've lost count of how many times I've read this same question.  My thoughts are that this question is now very boring.

Can you not read the answers on the other one?

  13. Madeleine's Mum, Kate's precise answer to the Q why she does not answer the 48 questions, answers it all.

IF the investigation thinks, WRONGLY, that she had harmed her child & was doing all it could to push the investigation down that path, the best thing she could do for her Madeleine was to jeopardise such an investigation, by not answering such questions. It makes perfect sense. For if, such an investigation succeeded, by twisting & misinterpreting her replies to those 48 rhetorical questions, in doing what it set out to do - to find Kate & Gerry guilty of harming their Madeleine, they would have been charged & arrested by now. And who then would search for their Madeleine???

With the gullible public believing that Madeleine is no more, murdered by her parents who the court has found guilty, the case would be closed & she would be deemed as no more. Of what good would Kate be to her Madeleine then???

Kate McCann did the right thing. At risk to her reputation but for the love of her child.

Think about it people. Think laterally. What would YOU do, if God forbid, you were in her place??

If you knew you were innocent of harming your child but if the investigating authorities were bent on accusing & charging you. They had already issued her a deal to admit that she had accidently harmed Madeleine, so she knew fully well where they were coming from. Imagine the choice she had to make...in a foreign country, her mind a traumatic mess filled with thoughts of her beloved missing child, faced with accusations that she harmed that child, then faced with a deal to confess to a crime she did not commit... the foremost thought in her mind would have been that these people are wasting time, precious time, barking up the wrong tree, when they could be searching for Madeleine. Naturally she would want to stop them in their tracks... especially since they are on the wrong track. Anyone would. Wouldn't you???

As much as it is the right thing to do, to co-operate with the authorities, when you know in your heart & soul, that the investigation is misguided, no sane person, in search of justice, would help such an investigation...especially when one's own child's life is at stake.

Which explains why Madeleine's Mum, Kate McCann rightly refused to answer those 48 questions, not just to prevent a miscarriage of justice against herself but also to set the investigation on its right path...to find her missing Madeleine.

  14. If Kate McCann is guilty why did the portuguese police exaggerate the tiny discrepancies they did have and not have any genuine evidence??

also why hasn't she been charged??

My theory is exasperated by these bumbling idiots and their tunnel vision on the case she was advised not to answer any questions as far as I'm concerned no matter how she answered the questions it would have been manipulated to make her look like a murderer!

I can't be bothered answering the same question that was posted less than an hour ago. PLEASE check for similar Q's before you waste 5 points.

EDIT. I gave you an answer in my link. But seeing as you don't want people to answer I am going to delete it unless you wind your neck in.

  16. Probably because the questions served about as much purpose as this one.

  17. Gee with Five news as your source, no need for a legal process - case solved and throw away the key.

  18. Kate & Jerry are carrying around a tremendous amount of guilt due to the fact that if they didn't participate in Madeline's disappearance, they enabled it to happen due to their neglect.

What I can't understand is that if the theory about her being snatched to order is to be believed, why wasn't the younger daughter taken? Also, if I were to leave my 3 kids alone, whilst I went out with friends, & one was snatched, i'd have my remaining children taken from me by Social Services.

Despite their loss, the only ones that I feel any thing for are the children. If the parents did have something to do with this, directly or not, they are still to blame. They have even admitted that leaving the children alone was a regular occurrence whilst on holiday. Why on Earth, considering the amount of money they both earn, didn't they pay for the babysitting facility that was available to them through their hotel?

Oh, & whilst we're at it, can anyone explain to me where the 3 children were, when Kate & Jerry regularly went for Sunday lunch in their local town of Rothely, Leicestershire? I am extremely surprised that this question hasn't been asked, & could explain a few things! & also, why is the Madeline fund, not set up as a charity?

There are far too many questions for this to be a clear cut case!

  19. If she's innocent, poor woman. But if they both are guilty... wtf... cut their heads off.

    Greetings from America.

  20. The McCanns are like the Ramsey's (remember JonBenet Ramsey?).  They obviously know what happened to their child but they are unwilling to open up about it.  They are protecting someone.

  21. IF being the operative word. Innocent people have nothing to fear and nothing in the world would stop me helping to find my daughter! I would never have left the police side. But we are talking about a serial liar here who is so arrogant she will sue you for daring to doubt her. This is one unhinged and sick person, so don't expect any truth.

  22. this has been asked loads of times- refer to other questions like this please- people cant be bothered to keep writing it out
