  1. A plain & simple definite No.

  2. Not a chance.  He is a devastating puncher at 160 - at 166 he couldn't hurt Taylor that bad, at 200+ his punching power would be very, very depleted, he would have to rely on boxing ability, which he has but not to the degree that it would compensate for the huge size disadvantage.

  3. No, Pavlik is a good fighter but that is asking to much of him. he would be at an unhealty weight for him and klitschko has to much hight and reach advantage. Klitschko can just do what he did against Sultan.

  4. no way in h**l klitchkow probley jabs harder than jermain taylor

  5. No, his style is to slug it out, even if he gain weight, he will still has a middleweight chin. The only way a middleweight can win against a heavyweight is to box and out point him like Roy Jones did against John Ruiz. Kelly Pavlik is a slugger, not a boxer, he doesn't has the style to beat a big heavyweight.

  6. Unlikely, few if any fighters in history could successfully move from 160 to 200 lbs in boxing.   In fact, in the long history of boxing, only three have actually managed to win even partial heavyweight titles after holding the middle weight title.  40 lbs. is a lot of weight, and with today's Roy Jones Jr. and James Toney recently joining boxing immortal Bob Fitzsimmons they form one of boxing's most elite clubs.  I don't consider Pavlik quite that accomplished a boxer, his straight ahead pressure style would be suicide against the heavier punching big men.  If Jermain Taylor could hurt Pavlik, the bigger heavyweights would KO him.  He might surprise the boxing public, the talent level of today's heavyweights is weak enough, but the odds are against Pavlik.

  7. No

  8. You Americans are really desperate for an American heavyweight champ aren't you? Dear oh dear, he's only a Middleweight. Strangely he would have a punchers chance against the younger Klitchko because he has a glass chin, but that's about it.

  9. Kelly Pavlik shouldnt go up even 8 lbs as Joe Calzaghe would mop the floor with him.  To expect him to compete at 175 or higher borders on insanity (ok maybe I'm exaggerating a little LOL).  Can you imagine Pavlik trying to swap punches with Klitschko or Peter?  It wouldnt last a round!  LOL   Even Ibragimov would drop him like a bag of sand.   If you were serious about this question God help you.  He is a good fighter at 160 but he is no world beater.  The 160lb division is not very competitive right now and even ten years ago he wouldnt even be a champion as Hopkins was ruling the class and Pavlik doesnt bring enough to the table to compete with a BHop.  Jones and Toney would have eaten him for breakfast and nevermind what Marvin Hagler would have done to him. To put in bluntly, Kelly Pavlik is no Roy Jones Jr. who was able to go up to 200lbs and beat a medicore champion in John Ruiz. Pavlik wouldnt stand a chance. He was out on his feet against Jermain Taylor!!!!  Nuff said.

  10. lol after seeing those two bums, I wonder if my 90 year old grandma could at least go the distance

  11. thats not his fighting weight. he can fight at that weight but will perform poorly, his perfect at 166
