  1. i think he was alot better than mercer.he had alot better defense and could take a punch. i even think he could have beaten lewis.mercer was a choke artist who always lost the good fights

  2. Mercer did manage to rough Lewis up a bit.  Ibeabuchi is very rugged like Mercer, who is a tank.  Ike takes a punch a bit better than Mercer, though Ray does take a good punch.

Ike is simply a HARDER man, period.  He's very strong, like Trevor Berbick but much better in the ring.   If Ike can take Lewis' punches he would survive to stop Lennox late.  Lennox could also tie Ike up and out score him.  Lewis is a very hard puncher but it's not likely he would KO Ike because of his style.

Lennox wouldn't take the chances against Ike that he took against bigger targets like Michael Grant.  Grant was a novice, a ranked amateur.  Lewis ran THROUGH him like a knife through hot butter.  IKE is MUCH tougher than Grant ever will be.  Lewis would have to tread carefully.  He could win a decision.

But if there is one miscalculation.....................

    BOOM!

    Ibeabuchi by KO in 8

  3. That would have been a great fight. Ibeabuchi was a hard puncher i think he could have knocked out Lewis if Lewis didnt frustrate him first.  Lewis is a great Boxer, a good puncher and had ok defense.  As much as i disliked him as a boxer when he was a professional id still pick him to win this one.  Hes a good intelligent guy and would outsmart Ike Lewis by unanimous decision

  4. Ike Ibeabuchi was an unstoppable African king, he would have ripped Lewis into shreds.
