  1. Yes. Front stage behavior.  See Erving Goffman dramaturgical analysis theory.

  2. Because we forget who WE truly are.  The journey through Life is learning and teaching, and hopefully, remembering who WE really are.  Ever read the Story of the Little Soul?  It's one of my favorites - it talks about us as souls - WE are Love.  We come here to learn certain aspects of Love in depth (like forgiveness) and some of our closest soul buddies volunteer to come help us learn that aspect by doing things or behaving in ways that will help that soul learn forgiveness & hopefully on our journey, we remember who WE are and who all of us are!!

  3. Basically, life is like a scam and we are all gonna die in the end.

  4. Yes, I do agree with Shakespeare that  "All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players:They have their exits and their entrances; and one man in his time plays many parts."

We are acting with our emotions based upon our perceptions, motivations, needs, desires, and understanding, but we are also re-acting to all the other players on the stage. Some of us want to be front and center and are willing to shove others out of the way to get that spot, some are willing to share the spotlight, and some would prefer to merely do their part in the background........At one point or another, most us are all three to various degrees.

People take things too seriously because they know they have but one life to live, and they forget that laughter is the best medicine! And people are judgmental of others because they are selfish and want everything to be as they think it should be, and because there isn't an audience holding up a mirror for them to see that they're doing the same things they're judging others for.

    Good question. : )

  5. actually I think I am frequently improvising in the moment

  6. Some take it seriously because you get different levels of acting ability. You got your Amrish Puris and you have your Priyankas.

We are acting for The One, The Only, Creator. In this big scene we have other actors around us who we must treat with respect and diginity. Obviously there are some people who are playing the bad guy role- and for them there is punishment.

The main thing you and I need to look at is ourselves. Does my acting have a bearing on anyone else? Is this a positive or negative impact? Our emotions are taught by those around us and those that brought us up.

  7. Some of us put on an act and some of us can comfortably be ourselves. However, no matter how much we want to be ourselves around others, most people do end up acting, or doing something to please others. I suppose we end up doing this "acting" to make people like us a bit more. Some people cant help taking life too seriously, it is in their nature to do so, the same as being judgemental too, but either way, we do sometimes "act" around others at times...

  8. The context and reference used is from British Theatre Performer, or some smart thinker, life is a stage, and we are merely players.

    Is partially true.

Then there is the Realist, life is a stage so play your part to the best for all.
