Would he still be as dominant as he once was after a few warm-up fights?

Could he still get into the top ten?

  1. thumbs up to  big e, that sums it up.

  2. No he's been out for what 5 years & I know the heavyweight division is weak but he would have too much rust & he retired at the correct time on top & at the right age.

  3. I have to disagree with the other two answers to some extent.........I believe that Lennox is a pretty smart guy and if he did come back that he would make sure that he could compete............here is a list of the heavyweights that are listed at #10:

    WBC-Donnell Holmes

    WBA-Davarryll Williamson

    IBF-Lamon Brewster

    WBO-Shannon Briggs

Heck, Andrew Golata is currently rated at #8 by two of the sanctioning bodies!!!!

Top 10 would be easy for Lennox if he trained...............it's just a question of if he came back motivated.

As far as a warm up fight or fights are concerned........right now some of the top 10 would be a warm up fight for him.........this isn't a one dimensional fighter like Mike Tyson........Lennox would jab the heck out of you and then wait very patiently throw the big one at you..........I think he'd do better than people think.........but that might be due to the lack of talent in the Heavyweight division as much as it is to the talent and smarts that Lewis has.

  4. Lennox is one of the Heavyweight Boxing greats! But he has been away from his training and will have to perform a miracle for him to come back and compete... Even thought Heavyweight boxing nowadays is a dissapointment.

  5. I'm not sure about Lewis being as dominant as he was before he retired, but I truly believe he could make the top ten easily. h**l, just look at the WBC, WBA, and IBF top ten rankings now and see whose in it. After seeing that, I'm sure you'd be convinced that Lewis could eventually work his way in the top ten within three fights.

  6. He still can beat everyone except Wladamir Klitscho.
