If Los Angeles is banning the construction of new fast food restaurants...

because of the obesity epidemic amongst the poverty-stricken... Are the healthier restaurants now going to have a $1 menu with healthy food choices that those people can afford?

  1. No they won't - you have exposed one of the many facets of folly in the saintly LA leadership's master plan.

    The legislation is temporary, and it doesn't stop people from eating off of a multitude of other unhealthy growth industries - like Mexican catering trucks or little Tacquiera stands. Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles may consider opening some more locations to fill the void, because this plan creates very little incentive for healthy restaurants to develop in areas where people don't want it or can't afford it.


  2. i hope so. i think that soon in the near future there'll be fast food that is not as disgusting (as in terrible for us and tortures animals and the environment), there'll be healthier fast food, and then there'll be fast health food.  

  3. No because the idiots who passed this turkey can't legislate pricing or menus.
