If MCcain believes that Bristol's unwed pregnancy is a private matter why would the leak the story?

Who is the real Sarah Palin? We know nother about her. Where did she come from? What all does she believe in?

Palin talked a good game in her acceptance speech about thumbing her nose at Ted Stevens’s famous $223 million earmarked Bridge to Nowhere, even though she lobbied for it until a national furor arose.

Her husband Todd isn’t a registered member of the Republican party, but it would be disingenuous for me to criticize him for that.

Listen, they did not leak the story.  They just laid it all out for the American people.

A smart move.  Now the Obama campaign can do nothing about it.

Because DailyKos had been spreading the rumor that Gov. Palin's youngest son was her daughter's child, and other liberal blogs had picked it up.

Since the nutroots were already out there, drooling like rabid dogs, the best thing was to let the truth be known.  I'm sure they were planning to make it known anyway... it's not something that could be hidden, and as I understand it, it wasn't even really a secret.  The people in Wasila just have better manners than liberals.

Because they wanted to leak the story and then say that democrats are bashing a mother and a child and then that way they can try to win the election by acting like they are bashing a mother.

They leaked the story because your dumb bunch spread this lie that Sarah's 4 month old son was actually her daughter's son.  So they figured that even the stupidest Democrats would understand that a woman who is 5 months pregnant could not be the mother of a 4 month old child.

I think her daughter at the VERY least deserved a dignified manner of disclosure. Why not do a one-on-one interview with a respected journalist? Something personal? Instead, they leak it and issue a statement.

Honestly, if her pregnancy was supposed to be a private matter:

A. McCain never should've offered the VP spot to Palin.

or

B. Palin never should've accepted it.

Neither of them thought much about how the nomination would essentially deny Bristol Palin of ANY privacy. It's a sad, sad situation created by sad, sad people.
