  1. If he produces the way he does h**l yeah,

  2. If they beat the Red Sox with him they will.

  3. He won't play for them. They accepted that traitor Johnny Damon.

  4. Heck, yeah. Say what you want about NY fans, they know the great ones when they see them. He would be killer in pin-stripes, and they'd love it.

  5. If he can come through and be good with them they will

  6. Honestly, if this is the direction the Yankees want to head in, then let it be so. But I think it has become clear that this technique of buying players past their prime just does not work.

  7. No! He will never be accepted.

Biggest jerk in baseball....he quit on the Red Sox with unethical behavior.

  8. Of course. Yankee fans are whores, and they'd accept George W. Bush if they thought he could hit.

  9. if manny is hitting and not choking in the clutch like arod, then yes they will accept him. but if he starts to suck then he will be booed.

  10. What would it matter if they didn't? Manny would probably just shove 'em all back into their seats anyway...

  11. If he plays great baseball. they probably would like Damon but hey  Yankee fans are Yankee fans !

  12. I am a yankee fan i will definately accept him!!

  13. Ok the Yankees would never take it him. He is a bad clubhouse prescence they dont need. He also costs 22 Million a year. They dont need him. They have Xavier Nady, Johnny Damon, Hideki Matsui, and Bobby Abreu as outfielder with Matsui mainly as a DH.

They also have minor leagers Brett Gardner, Melky Cabrera, and Justin Christian who dont even make 1 million a year.

So know they dont need him. So your question really can be ansered although he produces in the clutch then they will. They accepted Roger Clemens and Johnny Damon, former Red Sox players who did very well in New York.

  14. Yeah

  15. I am a Yankee fan and I would have to think about it...no doubt he had some of the best numbers in Yankee Stadium when playing for Boston...but just guessing or asking how much "gas" does he have left....would it be worth the money and distraction...as I have pointed out for the past several years....they need pitching and that is where they should go next year.....besides, he would have to get rid of the "predator" hair-doo and as in Damon's example....they ended up lik"Samson" and lost all of their power......notice that the Yankees and Giambi started playing better when he grew hair under his nose...maybe that is what the Yankees need to do...there is still 30+ games....if they are allowed to grow their hair out maybe they can win out and bet that the Twins and Red Sox lose at least ...what? 7 games?.....come Yankees try it!  nothing else has worked so far!...still GO YANKEES! STINKIN RED SOX!!

  16. he will but the yankees wont sign him hes too much of a distraction.
