Of course he could start a war, and there's always the possibility that we'll lose.  That's accepting the reality that we don't know the future.

However, we KNOW that Obama plans on losing the fights we're actually in now.   And appears to want to lose the fights we may have in the future.

I'll take a possibility of defeat vs the certainty of one any day.

More likely that he start several wars which would mean defeat for the US.  He has used too many odd statements for me to believe he understands the problem.  And I don't know that the military could talk him out of it, as he might copy Bush and force uncooperative generals into retirement.

As for Obama would you be comfortable with him negotiating with a hostile country & show strength, personaly I think he would be as weak as Carter.

McCain will not start a new war, but he will certainly be the one to finish it.  Consider this..........if you were the leader of Iran, North Korea, or in charge of any terrorist group, who would YOU rather see as president?  The guy with no military experience or foreign policy experience with the muslim middle name?  Or the decorated vietnam war veteran who supported President Bush's foreign policies, and who has no intention of easing things up in Iraq or with the War On Terror?

Looks like McCain has the same understanding of war - WAR at ANY cost. Sometimes cost is so high, that it is equivalent of total defeat.

I think that "possible" is being optimistic, I'm pretty sure that within the 4 years that he will be president, he'll find at least one country to attack! McCain is angry, and he wants war!

It's called WW3, a nuclear war against the US and it's couple allies, by the rest of the world.
