  1. Notice after the one dude said, "Quick!  Change your question!", and the Cons caught on and that's all they put, instead of realizing you "mistyped", and answered as if it was admiral.

    Typical.

  2. "Commander-in-Chief" is somewhat higher than "Admiral"...

  3. He took 5 years off, in a prisoner of war camp; nice vacation. John McCain is a real American and a real man. And he is proud of it.

  4. Dah because he wasn't black ?

  5. He was in the Navy, they don't have Generals, they have Admirals.  He was up for promotion to Admiral Lower half when he got out to run for congress.

  6. I am one of those who think McCain doesn't have leadership qualities. Had he stayed in the Navy. He probably would have rode on his father's coattails to reach rank.I also don't think his military experience makes him a real American nor gives him the ability to lead this country effectively.

  7. Because of the physical damage from torture, he left the Navy and became a Senator.

  8. Leave military issues to those that understand them

Your question shows how ignorant on the subject  you really are.

  9. You could be talking about JFK too.

  10. He got out and went into politics...................oh lucky us. not

  11. Dude, quick, fix your question!  The Navy doesn't have generals.  They have admirals.  ;)

  12. Another example of why a little time serving their country would be good for today's liberal.

Gross ignorance aside, because military leadership experience is only a small and distant part of McCain's resume.

And, I need to point out that even this gives McCain FAR more leadership experience when compared to Obama's complete and utter absence.

You might want to ask yourself what Obama's chances are if this is all you've got.

  13. He was 895th in his class of 899 at Annapolis.  But for his daddy and his grandfather, he would have almost no chance of becoming Admiral.  I think he wanted to be his own man, since he wasn't living up to the legacy of his forefathers.

  14. Because he sucked so badly that they kicked him out of the navy!

I am just making this up. I have no clue but good question.

  15. He got out and went into politics.

  16. You've got to be kidding. You DO know that like 5% of officers, at most, ever make general. Besides, you have to be in 25+ years, which he wasn't.

What a stupid question posed by someone who obviously has never served and therefore doesn't have the slightest right to question McCain's service.

Go enlist, then come back and talk smack. I won't be holding my breath, lol.

  17. General huh?

  18. Because he got out...

    DUH
