Actually, although basically a liberal dem, I might have voted for the John McCain of 8 years ago, and I think he would have been MUCH better than the shrub.

Unfortunately, McCains maverick days are long gone.  Even his vice presidential pick was not really his own but was made to appease the far right wing bozos.

And say, that Republican thing is a real hate-fest against liberals, isn't it?

And no I'm not Republican (I don't even live in the U.S). I'm just giving you a logic answer.
