  1. Because he is a member of the BEST Party and the BEST Hope for America. A very smart man.

  2. Good question! Independent Maverick Senators don't vote 90% of the time (this past year) with Bush.  Prior to that he averaged 77% votes with Bush.  Now he's disowned even the past independent positions he's had.  As far as I can see, he's like bush on almost everything.

  3. He's neither; he's Bush III, seeing as how they voted over 90% alike.

  4. He is a maverick because he doesnt suck up to the man, he doesnt just vote the way he is expected to vote, he votes for what he feels is right. He doesnt vote the way the party goes, he votes for what is the best for the country.

  5. Do you really want the answer?

During the primaries, all of the other candidates, except Rudy, were trying to capture the "conservative" vote.  They pretty much cancelled each other out.  Of course, Rudy had that weird "wait till Florida" strategy which ruined his chances.  So, the conservative candidates beat each other up and McCain was simply the last man standing.

  6. Why is Obama even running? These are the questions none of us will ever know.
