Could that be ticket for him being elected, even if his son would probably have to be deployed?

  1. Obama's daughters are too young to serve and Biden's son is a Captain going to Iraq next month...so, it won't help him a bit...nothing will!

  2. No, republicans have exploited 9/11 and our troops enough since bush took office.

  3. It would sway some voters.

  4. With Palins son headed over very soon.

  5. Not if his son is fighting for oil...lol.  Think about it!

  6. No, to his credit, he has made it a point not to mention it very often. Everyone knows and he does not wish to "exploit" his sons' service.

  7. I do not think that his son serving in Iraq should have anything to do with his race for the white house. I'm not saying that I'm not proud of his son for serving that just it should not be the reason why he is elected to be the next president. He should be elected if the people of the United States believes he is the man for the job

  8. So what.

  9. It shouldn't.  Having a son in the military has nothing to do with a person's ability to be President.

  10. McCains VP choice son eldest son is going to Iraq soon also.

Good for him for choosing a Woman! :]

  11. If McCain started to talk about his 5 year stint in the Hanoi Hilton and being offered release but refusing to leave his guys,(regardless to how much carter and his ilk complain), the fact that he does not pull the party line (senators say there are three major parties in the senate: the dems, the repubs and then there is McCain, or the fact that he and his wife adopted a baby of color then he could turn obama into a Ducakis or McGovern. At any rate, I feel a sea change coming and he will handily squash obama in the election. God willing

Moreover, I love these mental giants pontificating that we have be lied to all these years. How about some examples, even one and, God forbid, proof. You are not being intellectually honest. You don't like Bush and you making buffoons of yourselves by letting you emotions distort you train and logic of thought. Come on, put down the pipe. You may  pick it up after obama tanks. Have a great night.

    Joe

  12. No.

Unfortunately, the war is no longer the #1 issue to most voters.

Nor do I think his willingness to send his son to his death for no good reason would be a selling point.

Most Americans realize that the war was wrong, and that they have been lied to all these years.
