If Mickelson (or any other player) won a major using the Ping Eye 2, would the victory be tarnished?

Well, perhaps it would take the gloss off a little bit. It would probably only prove a footnote in history, but certainly any player who won using the controversial club would be opening themselves up to criticism. One thing's for sure, Ping must be loving the publicity right now.
