Pro-life means understanding as humans we have, because of Christianity and our ability to reason, a responsibility to respect human life above all others(It was created in the image of God). And to kill only what we are willing to use. We can only kill people who have killed other people. We can only take a person in his image when his image has been destroyed by that person.

Because she knows that we were put here to be over the animals and the animals were put here for our pleasure and for food. There is a difference between the life of an animal and the life of a human child. Stupid tree huggers need to realize this. Its sad that an owl, or a rat or a bird is put on a pedestal before people. Children are the worlds greatest commodity but if one if murdered, either in utero or as a child, hey that's okay but kill a moose and "Katie bar the door," we are cruel and inhumane. This world is so jacked up in their thinking its not even funny. Mrs Palin values the life of a child, proof since she gave birth to a downs syndrome baby against her doctors wishes. Our children will have more of a chance in this world with her in even the second in command position.

That would be the conundrum.  Pro-life apparently means a desire to support the death penalty and kill animals.

And exactly why is "human life" more important than other life.  I understand there is a cycle of life and I do eat meat, but I do not wantonly kill.  To kill just for the sake of killing is wrong.  And at the current rate of population growth among humans, the earth will, if it hasn't already, become over-populated.  The resources that support human life are disappearing, thus rendering the humans more like a virus on this planet, than the stewards we should be.
