Question:

If Nadal was given #1 seed in French Open this year?

Nadal deserved #1 seed, he is unbeaten in French Open.

Would they both be in Final if they were in opposite draw?

Which draw was better, more left handers in Nadals draw, and Djokovic as well.

I am sure Nadal would be in Final either way.

  1. Don't understand your question but first of all Nadal did deserve the number one seed (due to the reasons you mentioned above). And secondly he would have made it to the finals regardless of who he faced, just because he is that dominant on clay.

  2. Yes if nadal was #1 and fad was #2 they would swap sides of the draw.

Hope This helps Cheers x*x Gordo x*x

  3. Indeed Nadal is deserved of a #1 seeding because of his performance, but Federer remains the #1 player in the world, and the #2 on clay, so he deserves it too, that's why he got that seeding. If seedings were based solely on who win a particular tournament the most, then the ranking would useless in a way.

Regarding the draw, Fed and Nadal to me would have both made their finals, with Nadal having a way easier time. The final will be interesting, I expect Nadal to win, but we will see if serve and volleying more would help the Fed man
