Hmmm, lets see now ! If the Obama's had a teen daughter who were pregnant, they would be the poster parents for bad parenting everywhere ! Those people who keep saying Palin's teen daughter's pregnancy shouldn't reflect on Palin and her politics are playing the only card they have !

The fact of the matter is that Palin herself is somewhat of a rebel and she obviously enjoys s*x as she has what 5 kids !  She has admitted to smoking pot in her youth but as she makes clear, it was "legal" in Alaska !

Palin has more negative baggage than McCain's camp obviously knew about otherwise, she wouldn't have been chosen as his running mate !

I wonder how much money Palin and her cronies receive from the Alaska Permanent Fund !

Then we would know he has real issues just like the rest of America. I don't think the fact that her daughter is pregnant at 17 ( which the 18 yo BF was there with her at the National Republican Convention) should have an effect on the issues at hand. I'm glad to see the Sarah Palin is a normal person and mother and has to deal with the same things other parents do. We fault people when they act like their life is perfect but then we criticize people when they show that they are human just like the rest of us. Get real people..you can't have it both ways! Exactly...it just shows that maybe she can be gov of a state but cant control what her own daughters are doing and who they are doing it with. Or maybe she is ignoring her family with her job that sh ecant keep and eye on them and they are trying to get attention. I dont think with a pregnant teen daughter and a new born with down syndrom that being VP is really the best for right now, I cant believe she even excepted, I mean her daughter and son both need her more than ever right now, and she is not even with them that much going around with the old bag McCain. She needs to get her prioritys straight and think of her family first...that would be a good american!

I can't speak for others.  But I generally vote Republican (not always but about 65% percent of the time)  I would not really care.  I mean at 17 teens are going to do just about whatever they want.  Parents don't have that much control.  Palin has 5 children and with the teenage s*x rate as high as it is, it shouldn't surprise anyone too much that a she has a pregnant teenager.  Moreover, we only know this because the daughter didn't have an abortion.  So I am sure many other high ranking politicians have had pregnant teenagers that we never hear about because it is not reported or they have abortions.  And what about those with just boys?  We might never hear about them.
