  1. Probably not, since word processors like Word were made earlier. Online processors might have this update.

  2. its not if. its when

  3. Well, now you've made me curious.  I have to spell check this

    OBAMA.

    Edit:

Yep, you're right.  I'm given these options as "corrections":

    OB AMA

    OB-AMA

    ABM

    IBM

    AMA

    ABEAM

    ABMS

    ASAMA

What are THEY supposed to mean anyway????? lol

  4. hmmm that's a good question. i only think that the spell check for newer programs will label his name (first and last) as correctly. b/c my Word is from 2003 and doesn't allow me to spell things that were made famous and which aren't recognizable after 2003. so names like mccain (if he wins) and barack obama (hopefully he wins!) will appear as correctly spelled on emails (of course on the internet it will be labeled as correctly) and word documents that are made with Word 2009 or later.

  5. Good question. . . .I'm just glad there is an "ignore" button ! ! !

  6. Like the question.  And if I google Obama or look him up in Wikipedia will it flag those words still?

  7. You can just add it as a word to your spell checker.

  8. yup

  9. mabie if you buy a new version, but not on a version before. it would be nice though...

but  you can still  just select "add to dictionary on spellchecker.... at least on macs.
