  1. Yes because it will prove to Africans that the man isn't holding one race back and its only paranoia. And it will prove to the world that we (USA) are becoming a global community. But we will always have a little conflict.

  2. I don't think it will. He pulled the race card on Hillary, a fellow democrat. Imagine if you disagree with him and you're not a democrat at all. His true colors (no pun intended) have already shown in the primaries.

  3. Not one bit. I believe it would have a negative effect on race relations. Even the perception of favoritism toward minorities results in a backlash. Affirmative action and favoritism is a large part of why race relations are still in the toilet. Equality is the only answer.

  4. I think in the short run there will be more tension and it will look worse, then things will calm down and yah in the long run better.

  5. i hope it dose

  6. He will try, but the racist core of the Republican party won't budge from their position.

It is based on self-pity and ignorance.

  7. A moot point at best as Obama will lose without a doubt.

  8. race relations will definitely get worse. obama has already tried to play the old and worn out poor black me syndrome, if ( God forbid ) he is elected it'll be pay back for whitie.

  9. We better improve race relations now.Right now the two nations that are gathering their courage too destroy us really do not care what color we are, only that we are American's.We had better figure that out ,and like yesterday.Iran, and Russia couldn't care any less what corner you grew up on or what hood you live in.They care only about occupying your hood with a nuclear missle,or a T-72 Tank, with a mig flying over your old hood.Welcome to the real, sureal world. This is the truality right at our front door.

  10. if this election is nay indication, not much.

  11. I think if obama does a good job then it will affect it in a good way if he ends up begin the Gb then we would have problems

  12. Not really in fact I bet the race card will be played even more.

  13. no

  14. I personally don't think it's going to make much difference in the short run but in the long run when this country come to accept all race to continue to be elected as the president then race relations can improve from the Whites perspective.  Because as of now most Whites, especially in the South, have the mentality of them being superior only because of their white skin color, which is sad of course.  So for now, we may have some controversy but we'll probably have to wait another generation to wipe out the arrogance and prejudice mentality of white people.  Whites will have to come to realize they are not superior and never was superior because of their skin color!

  15. i think he will
