Face it was a bold move by McCain but would not have gotten the job if Clinton was the vice president.

  1. He would have had to. Now McCain just comes across as more progressive than Obama, who ignored the one qualified democratic woman who won 18 million votes.

  2. Yes !! I believe so

  3. no he would have picked

    BUSH

  4. No. He even only met Palin ones and that was years ago.

  5. yes,

McCain chose Palin to distance himself from Bush

Democrats made it clear months ago that they intended to make this election about Bush.

So McCain chose someone who is a Washington outsider, with a record of government reform, taking on corruption and special interest groups and reaching accross the ailse to Democrats.

It's the 1st step at distancing himself from Bush.

The reason people like Pelosi are really peeced off.

  6. If Obama had experience would he have chosen Biden? probably not...

  7. Probably.  But it doesn't matter.  McCain is finished.

  8. No way.

He needed to pick Romney and should have.

The more Palin gets feminist the more men she will anger and the more women will see her as a phony panderer.

What credentials does she have with the womans movement?

    Zero?

  9. If Obama would have pandered to the women, McCain would have pandered to someone else.

  10. I don't know, but he still would have picked his running mate with the intentions of gaining more votes - regardless of which minority they fit in.

  11. who knows

  12. I doubt it. It's a low republican ploy. Especially since he did it the day after Obama's acceptance speech. he couldn't wait one more day? He couldn't stand not having all the attention. This  is a typical Rove tactic and it will backfire. People don't vote for someone just because of their s*x.

  13. "What if" It's the sixty-four thousand dollar question, lets move on.

  14. I myself thought of this too. ... and i really doubt it.

  15. McCain would've picked Romney...

  16. That's an interesting question.  If it had been Hilary, and he had picked a man, he would clearly have lost the women voters that support Hilary. However, if that were the case and he picked Sarah Palin, it would look like he was pandering.  He would have been in a no-win with women voters, huh? It's irrelevant now, but a very interesting thing to think about.

  17. No.  I believe he did it to get the women who voted for Hillary.

  18. No, he would have picked an African American.

  19. Maybe you should ask him.

I think that he would of gone with someone different

  20. No he wouldn't have...that's why he's a better politician than Obama.

  21. of course not bet hillary is laughing her *** off

  22. If If If If,

If Obama would have picked Richardson would McCain have picked Gonzalez

If Obama picked Jesse Ventura would McCain pick Schwarzenegger

  23. Why don't you ask if Obama wasn't arrogant, would he have picked Hillary?   The answer is yes, he should have picked Hillary.  They could have been the dream team, but instead he picked the old washington insider Biden.

Only McCain knows the answer to your question.
