  1. It's a guarantee of nothing.  Don't be so cynical.

  2. I really hope so, if elected he has to be kept in check

    McCain for President

  3. Absolutely. Most Americans favor having either a Republican house with a Democratic President and vice versa.

  4. Far from it.  If he wins, it will be because a lot of people, and demographic groups, who do not usually vote, turn out at the polls and most of them will vote Democratic.  Even if Barack does not win, there is a good chance that the greater turnout among some groups will increase the election of Democrats.  The Democratic problem has always been in voter turnout, but this time it may be different.

  5. Each race is individual.  I do not see how Obama's winning would affect the other politicians.

  6. Many Republicans think so. There are some Republicans who secretly hope Obama wins so there will be a Republican overthrow of Congress in 2010. That's awful risky. I am hoping McCain wins to keep the Congress honest. You can bet conservative talk show hosts like Neal Boortz and Sean Hannity will be in their element with Obama in. It was more fun listening to them when Clinton was in office that hearing them try to defend Bush and all his policies.

  7. Yeah. It'll clean up the **** in America. We don't need another idiot in the white house, so I hope Obama wins.

And the people giving me a thumbs down must be blind. Fine with me if they want to have harder lives.
