If Osgood won another cup with the Red Wings, would he deserve to be in the hall?

I really think he is Hall worthy right now. People on here forget Billy Smith, same sort of situation. Had many hall worthy players, was a constant contributer but never ranked in the "elite" group but when the playoffs rolled around he was money.

Ozzie already deserves to be in the Hall the guy is a great goaltender and one of the most humble players I have ever seen, he will earn his spot in there along with alot more guys who have worn the red wheel.

No.  If however, he went to a different team and won a cup there as starting goalie, then that gives him more credibility.  Especially if it was a team like Ottawa.

I think the HHOF allows too many borderline players as it is.  Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Osgood is a lousy goalie.  I think he's a good goalie.  But I don't think he's a great goalie, and I think the Hall should be reserved for great players, not just good players.  Yes, there are other goalies of similar calibre in the Hall but they probably shouldn't be there either.

It might be tough for him to get in now.One more he should get in.4 Time All Star but never a Vezina Winner.Tough with Marty winning it every year.15th All Time in Wins in history not shabby but the teams he had in Detroit were solid for the most part.
