Question:

If Ouija boards work, why is it not documented?

I have always had a certain interest in the paranormal, unknown, spiritual world, etc, including the use of the Ouija board. I have tried to use the board some 3 times, but nothing ever happened. I have come across many fantastic stories in the web about the use of the board, but I believe that it is nothing but BS of epic proportions.

The truth is: If Ouija boards really worked, there would probably be new stories every single day in the media about people using them. Ouija board sessions would have been recorded on tapes and films, televised, and the government would have imposed restrictions and guidelines, maybe even banned them from being used, considering what the "spirits" or the "subconscious" could tell about the politicians, the lottery wining numbers, the stock market, where terrorists are hiding, etc.

Don't you agree? :-)

  1. well if you really want to see it work you should come and hang out with me and my buds and we will show you. jk. i dont really want to hang out with you but i know from personal experiance that it works. you just have to have spirits around you when your playing with it.

good luck. and seriously you should find a friend that sees or experiances spirits and ask them to do it with you and than see what happens

  2. I agree, Also i have used a ouija board and nothing happend for me either ?

  3. That is not how they work.  Would you believe a guy who said the triangle moved(WHILE HIS OWN TWO HANDS WERE ON IT)????????

    No.

You would have to feel it for yourself, right?

    Like a sign.

So you can wait till dark of night, light white unscented candles in 7 sets of seven, and invite the wicked, into your home to embrace your family, just to make sure it works......Or,,,,,, just take my word for it, LEAVE THEM ALONE!!!!!!!  They only bring evil as their sign, not fortune or prosperity.

You wont be happy with what happens, TRUST ME!!!

  4. Was this even a question? But yes I agree, I believe in spirits and ghosts to a certain degree but those boards are total BS along with all the "ghosthunting" tv shows.

  5. Because there's no hard evidence as proof. Even if someone were to record their happenings, who would believe it? People would say the video has been tampered with, etc. The spirit realm is something most folks don't want to talk about. It's a subject too touchy for some and some even with hard evidence in front of them would turn their face and walk away still not believing.

For you to say that you tried using the board 3 times and nothing happened...well, consider yourself one of the lucky ones.

  6. there are a lot of documented "messages" but people mark them as spam because they have absolutely no belif in the paranormal.

  7. It's not documented because they don't have hard facts. It may have happened at one point or another but the government wouldn't just take someones word for it(nor would the media). And there are all those explanations like your fingers twitching and moving it or your subconscious. So even if it did move you could just use one of those explanations. Even if you got it on film. And even if it does actually work it won't just work when you want it to. It's not a machine. And how would the spirits know about lottery numbers or the stock market? So no, I don't agree.

  8. First off it all of those people documented their stories with witnesses the people that makers of Ouija Boards would be liable fo millions of dollars in law suits for selling such a dangerous toys... From My research I found out that one family did take the makers of their Oujia to court and the Oujia Board worked in front a a judge and jury and that family won enought money and was set for life.. Ever since then they say that the makers of the Oujia Board are not liable for any thing that happen with their product...... Now when people buy that toy they are liable for their own actions............

  9. Actually, the Ouija board works off of heat.  The heat used from the people participating is what supposedly moves the triangular indicator.

You are to place two fingers on the piece.  Usually your pointer and middle finger from both hands or just one hand, depending upon the amount of people participating.

Then the lights are turned off and the piece will move magically!  To be honest, in most cases, someone IS actually moving the piece.  I know, hard to believe, but it happens.  Sometimes, the person may have their subconscious moving it, whereas they wouldn't believe that they were moving the piece.  This behavior is called Ideomotor action.  In other instances, it is from the heat produce by your fingers that really creates the movement that seems like an illusion or done by 'spirits'.  This is, in fact, for the games you buy from the trademarked company, Parker Brother(known for Monopoly and other games).

Unless you have an original talking board that may have passed from different hands to hold different energies, you won't be getting any real spiritual awakenings.  However, that is not to say that an older talking piece would not work correctly with the right person using the board.

In most instances, it is talked about being dangerous to use a talking board.  Most people who are able to correctly use the talking board would do so in a matter that would not cause them harm.  As well, most times they do not ask for such frivolous things as the winning lottery numbers.

The government also could know of the hidden powers of the talking board, but we would never hear of it.  Like many things covered by the government, this could be one of them.  Though, this paragraph is mainly speculation.
