No....this probably has already been put into motion...It all has to do with oil and drilling. The Polar Bears will be in the way if on the endangered list.

She sued the Federal Government on behalf of the state of ALaska.  Alaskans and Eskimos hunt polar bear for food, resources and clothing. To have them named extinct by PETA fanatics in NYC would be a detriment to the livlihood of Eskimos.

Polar Bears really don't drink Coca Cola up there in ALaska, dearie.

No, the polar bears are hurting private companies by making it harder for them to drill oil from public property to sell to us. Do you really believe the existence of polar bears is more important than a new yacht for an oil giants fleet?
