If McCain always puts his country first, then why did he pick someone who is dangerously unprepared to be his VP in an effort to win votes from his conservative base and disaffected Hillary supporters?

  1. look at the track records she has just as much or more experience then obama. he was a senator for less then 4 yrs ...what has he done besides running for president . I know everyone thinks obama can do no wrong cause of the bias american liberal media but do some more research before putting these kind of questions out there

  2. Inexperienced? Palin was/is the commander in chief of the Alaska National Guard which gives her 2 years military experience, Obama has NONE.

Palin gave up her personal governors jet, Obama is sucking thousands at a shot for his 737. This makes Palin a reformer and conservative and shows her intentions for the American people.

Palin REDUCED her own salary to help Alaska reclaim some of it's financial liabilities. This makes her responsible for her actions.

Palin threw out corrupt oil company managers and gave every Alaskan $1,200.

McCain saved the American taxpayer by saying NO to billions on an Air Force tanker that we didn't need.

McCain was booted out of his own party for being a reformer and saying NO to pork barrel projects and earmarks. I would say this alone shows he puts country first.

I hear nothing but divisiveness coming from the democrats when their own candidate wastes their hard earned cash flying around his personal 737.

  3. A single man in a single decision changed a possible historical election into a must historical election, and for that everyone should be thankful.

Had he chosen say Romney and won in 50 years no one would remember the loosing candidate, but now it's either Obama or the first female VP, history will be made for sure because of McCain's decision.

  4. i'm a democrat, but all be unbiased on this question. you can't always believe what pundits say. they said mccain was toast in july, obama had no chance in may, and hillary would be president. look what happened. unfortunately, i think palin was a great pick, almost as good as pawlenty, but it won't be enough. mccain would have squeaked out with a victory, but now that isn't a possibility.

  5. When does the modern era of politics begin? I think she's more credentialed than Geraldine Ferraro.
