  1. This question keeps being asked, I don't know if it is by you.  I don't have any real objection to him having a knighthood, they don't really mean anything but I do find him a silly old duffer.  It is time he packed it in and stopped embarrassing himself.

  5. I think the whole knighthood/OBE etc things are a bit overrated these days, it seems only famous and successful 'celebrities' are awarded them. But I do think Brucie should at least get some recognition somewhere. I mean bless him, he's been entertaining Britain for at least 40 or 50 years and he's still funny (in a cheesy 'head in hands' way!). I have far more respect for Bruce than Parkinson. What's he done? Sat on his a*** for decades interviewing people I personally couldn't give a t*** about? -_-

  9. Neither deserve the honour of knighthood. They are simply TV so-called personalities. I think Forsyth already has an OBE or CBE, which is more than enough for someone who barely deserves an MBE.

Yeah him and Donald Sinden have been waiting and scraping  it out for the award, and then we can get rid of them.  !!  My God, that award system is crazy, there are far worthier everyday people who put much more in to society and don't get paid millions.  Look at that Jonathon bleeding Ross, he needs an award so bad it stinks.  Sir Billy Connelly is he one yet, if not he deserves it started off with eff all and is so funny yet.

    Only persons of good talent and high standing deserve that honour.
