If Plants & Animals only survive (Earths Evolution) because ......?

they have found their 'niche' in the Enviroment, then surely mans destruction/shaping of the Enviroment and subsequent effect on these creatures (including extinction) is purely the natural process of all things living !? After all we are only products, like everything else around us, of Nature. In other words, this Planet is condeming itself & was doomed from the begining !!!

Disease has been claimed to be the earth's immune system, and we are a bacteria or virus depending on your definitions.

Personally i believe that we have got to the point where we have devolved - lost natural instincts and other benefits. This is because we have overcome survival of the fittest senarios thanks to medicine. Im not saying this is a bad thing, many of the greatest minds in human history would not have survived to express themselves.

Not all animals have adapted to their environment, some adapt the environment to themselves, such as birds with nests, badgers with their sets and so on.

The planet was condemed the moment it was created as the universe can only expand to a finite amount before either the gravity loses it's purchase and everything spins away into nothingness, or it gains purchase and we hurtle into the centre and implode. But thats certainly just a scientific view, and as we know, science can be wrong!
