  1. The throne goes to William, then Harry....then Andrew. If William has kids before this happens, the throne would go from William, to his eldest son, to his youngest son, to Harry and his children and THEN to Andrew.

Point is...Andrew's screwed however you look at it.

  2. IF Charles abdicated, Prince William is the next in line to the throne. Prince Harry is after Prince William. Andrew follows Harry.  When William and Harry marry and have children, Andrew will go farther down in the line of succession.

  3. William would be first in line after Charles.

  4. it goes to the next heir in line, that is william.it would only have gone to andrew if charles had not had any male children.if charles had an older daughter, the crown would have gone to harry!if charles had had 2 daughters,it would have gone to andrew.a bit unfair, that!but elizabeth became queen when her father died, because there were no male children close to the throne.so it did go to the eldest daughter, elizabeth.but her father was a second son,he became king because his brother basically quit-he abdicated to marry a divorced american woman.its very headachy sometimes, figuring who gets the crown and why.but if charles abdicates, that would not at all negate his eldest sons claim to the throne.and if both charlesa nd william said "no,thanx",harry could get it.charles has an older sister, princess anne, but he gets to be king cos he's male, she gets just to be a princess, not queen, because the crown goes to her younger brother.supposedly, the queen always felt it was a shame anne could not have the throne,as she is tough and  capable.whereas charles is a bit shy and more inclined to be a philosopher than a monarch-perhaps.(he might fool everyone,u never kno).

And to correct a wrong answer: if the Queen had only daughters, her daughters would be her heirs--let's say Charles was Charlotte,Andrew was Andrea,Edward was Edwina, and Anne remains Anne:Charlotte and her two children would be next in line to the throne, then Anne and her two children, Andrea and her two children, the point being women DO INHERIT the throne. How does the  erroneous responder think the Queen got her position?

  6. no, william comes first. it would really ony go to his brother if he had no kids.

  7. no Andrew is after William and Harry.

  8. no it goes to william

  9. Prince Charles does not have an older sister. He is the Queen's first born; and it's throne, by the way!

  10. No, it would go to the next in line which is william.  Also, dont listen to the other posters, in Britian the crown can pass to females (hence queen elizabeth).  Also, personally, I do not think that Charles is going to get the thrown, since he has been divorced and is a confessed adulteror.  Evidently, that is not very good for someone who is going to be the head of the church of england.  So I do think that William would get the thrown, especially in these times when the family no longer rules and can be "kicked" out by a reforendum.  Thus, they want to be in high public opinion, and since when the Queens children were going through divorces the family suffered low public approval, they would not do anything to jeprodize their position.  So I do think that William, and not Charles and his delightful wife, will be getting the throne.
