If RTE show the dublin-meath match on the web will it only be available in ireland?

  1. you might get it on the web. But there is still a doubt as to whether it will be shown. RTE has already commited to showing a different game, and as this (Dublin Meath)  is a replay, unless the time is changed by the GAA, it might not be shown on the tv at all.


  2. Neither of them will win Sam this year anyway, why bother.

    Remember the hype around dublin last year, thought they would thrash mayo and got their **** whipped.

    But they will only allow people in Ireland (or at least those with Irish IP addresses ) to pick up the broadcast on the web.

    Setanta ( boo, hiss) have the international rights hence the restriction to Irish IP addresses see http://www.rte.ie/sport/faq.html

    Don't know anyway around it either.
