Question:

If Republicans consider Obama to be 'The Messiah'--wouldn't that imply that he's Jesus Christ?

Wouldn't that torpedo any GOP counter argument that Obama's a Muslim in disguise?

Or is it just me alone trying to figure out the solution to this little logic bomb?

  1. We don't think he's the messiah..He does.

  2. No one would ever match or be as close as Jesus Christ for he is our lord

  3. 1) the awaited king of the Jews; the promised and expected deliverer of the Jewish people

    2) Jesus Christ; considered by Christians to be the promised deliverer

    3) any expected deliverer

According to this the FEDEX guy is the messiah.

  4. Muslims and Christians worship the same God.  The "Messiah" refers to the next King of Judea who will save the Jews from some outside power running their kingdom.  When Jesus was a human, many Jews felt, as the direct decedent of David, that he would be the one to throw off the Roman yoke and make Judea an independent kingdom - the reason the Romans allowed his execution.

  5. Obama is the one who thinks he's the messiah. Nancy Pelosi called him a gift from God. Obama said this about himself "a light will shine through that window, a beam of light will come down upon you, you will experience an epiphany, and you will suddenly realize that you must go to the polls and vote for Obama."

  6. The GOP is soooooo right that they are running in circles.

  7. I don't know any republican that say's he's "the messiah", but that would pretty much imply that if that were true... McCain's ad makes fun of how people act when they're around him- people flock him, it's crazy since he had nothing to offer except words in a pretty mono-tone voice. McCain's ad just say's "he's the one", I find it funny, especially the second version made for the Denver Democratic Convention... But, yeah, Republicans do NOT really consider him that, it's a joke.....    'Ha ha'......

  8. They do NOT consider Obama to BE the Messiah.

The think his blind followers treat him like he is the Messiah.

And very few Republicans actually think he is Muslim.

You can't figure it out because you are making too many false assumptions.

  9. What?  it's you alone.  i never heard the GOP consider him a messiah or a Muslim in disguise.

    It's you.
